Since its establishment the Company has been undertaking quality building projects in the Cotswolds and the surrounding areas earning a reputation for reliability, quality and delivery.

Richard Tuckwell, having been directly involved in construction for more than 35 years, established Cranatt Construction in the year 2000. He knows only too well that the Company’s reputation counts for everything and has now stepped back into a consultancy role with Andrew Powell now leading the company on a day to day basis. Its continued success depends on delivering top quality craftsmanship every time and at a competitive price. Each project is expertly overseen for its duration by one of our site managers, keeping up a continuous dialogue with all other professional bodies involved in the contract and together with the expertise of our skilled tradesmen they ensure continuity and quality right through to completion. Cost control and financial management lies with our Commercial Manager James Bacon, who is a key member of the Cranatt team. Along with Andrew, the Company are committed to bring projects in on time and on budget.

Some commissions may present a special design or engineering challenge that requires a more collaborative approach. Working closely with an architectural practice and structural engineer, a “Glass Cube” project linking two listed Cotswold stone properties typifies the partnership approach; the innovative solution won Cranatt a RIBA award.

The partnership approach has helped us in our continued success as a bespoke building company has come about by working with the practices listed below;
